LP readers, read this online article
Good find, rundown. But I think your sentence should read, Only three Powerball states allow winners to be completely anonymous under ALL circumstances whatsoever (Delaware, North Dakota, and Kansas). The article did not address the situation in Mega Million states nor in states that have state lotteries but are not associated with multi-state lotteries.

Wyoming, no one lives there lol
I've always said that about North Dakota and Delaware, Delaware is just a corporation, and you never see anyone on a game show from North Dakota.
Delaware is just a corporation and no one lives there? I do!

Next Hot Lotto state
HL started with six states in 2002. Two years later DC and North Dakota joined, with Kansas climbing on board in March.

Powerball lottery being considered in Wyoming
That is the problem with North Dakota. They are too dependant upon MUSL games. They need to start up their own in-state games, or merge their lottery with SD. Eventually the people are going to get bored with the games, and then what is the state going to do?

Powerball lottery being considered in Wyoming
If WY starts a lottery, it could go the route of North Dakota, which sells only multi-state games. Under current law, there are no scratch tickets in ND.

MUSL Hot Lotto
HL turned 4 last month. Since the 5/39+1/19 game started with six states in 1992, it's added DC, North Dakota, and this year Kansas.

where's the next powerball winner from?
My guess is for Oklahoma or North Dakota after it keeps rolling and then the cap emerges. Then more people will be interested in playing the game.

Powerball lottery jackpot hits record $365 million
It would be nice to see North Dakota finally break their long PB losing streak of winning a PB Jackpot. In addition, ND won't have to pay additional sales tax on top of federal tax.

Lotto Silver concept
Since 2by2 has a top prize of $20,000 and doesn't jackpot, it should have been a single-state game (then again it had to be a MUSL game for North Dakota to sell it).

Play The N.C. Lottery Over The Internet? It Could Happen
North Dakota and other rural states are beginning to see a decline in their sales due to the higher price of gasoline. When gas is over $2.50 per gallon the average guy will think twice about making an extra trip to the convenience store to drop a few bucks on a long-shot. If he could get on his computer and do the same thing, it would make more economic sense. As far as compulsive gamblers and minors are concerned, they will find a way to play with or without the Internet.Orangeman
