Jack Gillen's Astrostats Book
Hello all, I am a new member who has a number of Jack Gillen's materials but I am missing the Astrostats book from 2000. This is a different book from the Astrostats on the New York Stock Exchange, which I have. Does anyone have this book? Thanks!

Why do some people call this gambling?
Ah okay! Makes sense now. But, seriously, who does that!!!?! I mean in 2025, why risk losing money even if there's a 50/50 chance that you might not win. Even the odds for some games are 1:1,000 Even politicians know that you don't put money into the stock market unless you're sure of a return. LOL. And half of them knew were unmasked for insider trading . Which further proves my point, lol.

It also serves as a proof that at its current stage, as far as lotteries are concerned, AI can provide some ideas for further exploration... What is there to explore? If chatgpt et al had any real intelligence, it would tell you that every combination has the same probability of winning (it will if you ask it an honest question about the lottery, but it's obvious that dr san is asking it loaded questions, and AI is not smart enough to be able to tell it's being trolled). It would tell you t

I know me, and I'd feel exactly as you would even though I play for entertainment. There are Hardrock casinos located near me, but I've never been. The only other form of gambling I do besides playing the lottery is in The Stock Market, which I've done for the last 45 years. Over that 45 year time period I've made more money than I ever invested, but there were a few times (like in 2000 and 2008) when I didn't do so well. For me personally, in addition to the above, there's this - I have a

classic questions on lottery forums
Studying past draws is a waste of time. Each drawing is an independent random event. The only way to increase the probability of winning is to buy more tickets. It is true that each drawing is an independent random event. Since I mostly play the pick 3, it is also independent by position. Also, more tickets is the only way to change the odds. But I am frugal so I would rather pick 1 combo than 10 or more, as the draw will still be from 1,000 combinations regardless of how many would be

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I would love it if the state didn't collect tax on lottery wins until the cash value is $20 million or higher. I've got only two minor issues about how lottery winnings are taxed. Extremely few players win large amounts more than once, so winning a large prize is almost always a once in a lifetime windfall, while most people who are paying anything in the top bracket have a high income every year. Let's say you win a (cash) prize of $20 million. Adding that to 40 years of earning 75k means

Can AI Be Effectively Be Ued to Win a PB Jackpot?
This is what Google's Gemini had on the subject... An AI model is a software program or mathematical engine trained on large datasets to recognize patterns, make predictions, or perform specific tasks without explicit step-by-step instructions. In 2025, these models are increasingly categorized by their primary function, learning approach, and data modality. Core Types of AI Models and the Information They Provide Model Type Primary Function Information/Output Provided Typical E
