OK ...I agree with you cps10, backtesting is taking me too long for all states, Pick a state you like to keep track of, I'll pick TENN because they have similar hit pattern to Maryland and my method works there (and PA, OH, NY , and Michigan ) . Consistent straight hits in p3&4Reply
In doing some backtesting I've gotten fairly consistent box and straight hits by taking any given straight hit during the month in combination with one number from the day before and increasing the number by one several different ways. For example let's say on February 2nd 123 came in and on February 1st 456 hit. What I'd do is take 123 and add the first number from the day before to give me: 1234 Now I'll create all possible three numbers first so I know what to work with: 123 124

Hi Paul, 100 draws? One draw every day, or 1 draw a week? That shouldn't matter, right? Assume one has 2000 draws or something, for backtesting. The way to go, theoretically ofcourse, assuming again that there is such a thing as the way to go , would be to split up the 2000 draws in blocks of 100. Then, per block , see if combinations of numbers that seem hot within that block hit again somewhere in the next 100, or do they stay away for e.g. 300 draws and then surface again. No
