System for Lottery Workout Lovers
Thanks. NY is definitely following the trend consistently. Hopefully backtesting will help building confidence to players. Will soon put similar backtesting results at state level workouts also.

Trigonometry Question
Hi all! I'm backtesting a Pick 3 Strategy that (unfortunately) involves Trigonometry, and I'm stumped regarding a deceptively simple question that is making my backtesting extremely labor intensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! So . . . with b being the unknown . . . how the (insert your favorite expletive here) do you solve for b when you have sin (a + b)? I know the basic Trig equations sin(a + b) = sin a cos b+ cos a sin b and cos(a + b) = cos a cos b - sin a sin b, but beyond th

My method
Hello lottologix, I'm not just talking about backtesting. To avoid the risk of completely derailing this thread, lets look at the use of 317 for example. I don't use 317, because I have my own system, but the following few questions are just a hastily written sample of some of the kinds of questions I'd begin asking myself when using the logic of this particular technique. If I were using a different arithmetical technique, the questions would probably change. If I were using statistical anal

Lucky's follower system past postings
Lucky has been posting predictions from his systems here on Lottery Post for 16 years. He has nothing to prove, and backtesting in general is fairly meaningless. Anyone can create a system that backtests great, then provides no value for the future. Lucky was beyond generous to donate his systems to Lottery Post, especially given his tremendous insight into lottery systems over the years, as well as his incredible success. I have personally hit many times using Lucky's systems. Nevertheles

Have you ever won a pick 4 straight before ?
I will give this a closer look going forward draw by draw. Backtesting something like this doesn't really do any good (in my opinion) because one might stretch or skew the results in a way that isn't possible to do before a draw. This way when I pick the possible pairs/triads if they don't show, then they just don't as opposed to some other combination showing that doesn't give the straight but in backtesting mode I'd like to think that I WOULD have picked it and PLAYED it/MIRRORED it or some ot

One way how I play Pick 4
If he is applying these formulas to actual lottery numbers, the result is only 12 numbers to play, because there are only 12 formulas. You have to backtest to determine which draw on which day of the week, the following winning draws usually leverages off of. For example, in backtesting throughout the month, you are looking for consistent patterns. If you notice that the midday and evening Pick 4 drawing on Saturdays, produces winning numbers the following week, then you would choose to appl

On the road to a P3 Str8 (Inspired by lottolaughs)
Yes, also, I have a much quicker way of backtesting in general. Instead of punching every past winning number, it's easier to just run down the list of previous winners and only punch in the combos that have a mirror in the frist position making the backtesting much more efficient and saves a heck of a long time. I just did all of dec. 2012 in about 3 minutes. I was looking for any winners that hitht the next consecutive draw, and in dec. i found two. Playng 18 combos twice a day costs $1,080

I think I just may have cracked the p-3 code
Hi to everyone on Lottery Post...!! I'm new to the community and this is my very first post. I have been following this string and have done some backtesting here in Cali using the spreadsheets provided and the directions from Money (OP) and Carli. I must say, this is the MOST impressive lotto system I think i have ever seen (and I have been in the lottery game for a bit). I am by no means a lotto expert but I know a thing or two about risk and calculating the math to make sure you

Of Cat Washing and Backtesting
I don't usually do much in the way of backtesting, esp with jackpot games. However, I am trying something with P3 on paper. I was reading thru Lotto Logix and came across the Power Trails system. I had read this before but forgotten about it. Anyway, I went back thru April's P3 draws, day and evening and did a workout using the Power Trails system. Came up with 5 combinations to play on paper for May. So far, 1 straight and 3 box hits. In a test like this, backtesting doesn't do any good, but pl

What Does It Take To Win (Mathematically Speaking?)
Stack, I'll keep posting systems that I think are fun to play around with because I know that you and others will also have fun working with them. Every system I've ever posted has been improved upon. The fun is in the hunt, not the kill. Jimmy's backtesting is a necessary part of the process. One day his rigid backtesting may uncover a real winner. Consider Jimmy as the dose of reality that we all need to stay balanced in our expectations. Everybody brings something to the table.
