I agree with you 100% - Lotto 649 numbers are random. Why bother using the lottery post quick pick generator, writing the numbers down and then entering them in a play slip. Why not let the lottery terminal pick them for you? They are all random. Why the extra work?

A hole in my argument? Encouraging players to use the QP option and forcing players is two different things. I said to encourage....not force. And I've never seen players figure out numbers at the counter of a Retailer. Usually they come in with their numbers, ready. My responses though is to Coin Toss' statement about Lottery officials loving players looking for consistency in numbers and believe the games are not designed to have any.
