Illinois Is Putting Lottery on Block for Quick Payoff
The state of Illinois yesterday took the first steps in selling its state lottery system, hoping to attract as much as $10 billion from investors who, in return, would own a monopoly that could turn out to be the biggest jackpot yet.
The sale, which may occur as early as the spring, would not be the first privatization of public property - both Chicago and Indiana have recently earned billions of dollars by signing long-term leases with private companies to run toll roads. But the proposed l

Arizona Ballot Could Become Lottery Ticket
To anyone who ever said, I wouldn't vote for that bum for a million bucks, Arizona may be calling your bluff.
A proposal to award $1 million in every general election to one lucky resident, chosen by lottery, simply for voting no matter for whom has qualified for the November ballot.
Mark Osterloh, a political gadfly who is behind the initiative, the Arizona Voter Reward Act, is promoting it with the slogan, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Vote! He collected 185,902 signatures of re

interest groups lining up to lobby on web gambling
WASHINGTON, July 3 While Internet gamblers lay down big money on World Cup soccer this summer, teams of lobbyists are facing off on Capitol Hill in a contest over whether the United States should choke off the growth of wagering on the Web.
Representative Jim Leach, Republican of Iowa, co-sponsor of bill to cut back Internet gambling.
Faced with bills to curb online betting, which attracts an estimated $12 billion a year in wagers worldwide, an array of interest groups like cas

No delusion-100% winning method
Hi Tntea.
Yes a lot of these system are similar. They all spring from one matrix anyway. That
one would be great to find. Working on it...longer term goal.
I see where you may have misunderstood me. In my original posts on this threadI
claim that DSUM comes from doing a wrap down method of the last draw. You
would then have a column of 10 numbers.
You know...say your last draw was 752 - you then wrap it

No delusion-100% winning method
Pacattack helped to realize that my epxlanation odf DSUM may have been too convulted. Here's a brief summary attempt.
Hey Pacattack. Much respect. I wish I could. I'll try.
1. take the last draw.
2. do a wrap of that number.
3. Use DSUM. Down 1 digit, Stay the same, Up one digit, and miror the digit.
There are only 64 possible combinations and DSUM covers them all. You will find
many duplicates
4. Formula is:
1. DDD 2. DDS 3. DDU 4. DDM

Lottery winner's cyanide poisoning death remains unsolved five years later
Urooj Khan couldn't believe his luck in spring 2012 when he scratched off a second lottery ticket at a 7-Eleven near his home on Chicago's Far North Side and realized he had won $1 million.
When he accepted an oversized promotional check from Illinois Lottery representatives with his wife and teenage daughter at his side, he spoke of how his winnings would help him grow his dry-cleaning business.
But weeks later, before he had collected the actual winnings, Khan died unexpectedly at 46.
