Both annuity and cash value are lagging behind previous runs, but the cash value, as always, is the percentage of the annuity that it necessary to pay for the annuity. Right now that's about 44.3%. There's that increase to 1.4! I agree I think it's going to end up between 1.45 and 1.5 tonight. Saturday is projected at 1.7 but I'll be surprised if it's not between 1.8 and 1.9 My thinking is the out of ordinary factor is when people are nervous about the economy, lottery sales increase, we also haven't had a jackpot over 1B for awhile so there isn't the burn out. The estimated Powerball jackpot for the July 22 draw, the first draw that includes UK players, increased by a cash value of $10.2 million. The previous jackpot increase was $8 million. The next estimated jackpot increase for the July 25 draw is $14.6 million. They are definitely expecting a significant boost to sales based on including UK players. The Powerball jackpot also may reverse the trend and start increasing at a faster rate than the Mega Millions jackpot.
