The best explanation I can think of is that someone played their numbers and left the slip behind and someone else played the same numbers as well and it just happened to be a winner. I say that because I have done just that lol. I always play quick pick and every now and then when I walk into a lottery machine I'd find a completed slip someone just played and left behind. A. Choose a Quick Pick every time 99.9% of the time I buy a QP. Saves time and there is no emotional attachment to anything. Occasionally I use RNG tools. B. Pick your own set of numbers and play them every single time I don't do this. I feel this is the easiest way to be taken hostage by the lottery. Hello: Oh2btraveling. It might come in now, that 5321 hit midday today. 5=0. The first time I hit a pick 4 straight, I bought a quick pick, then I flipped one of the numbers. It was 8235, my mom and grandson birthday's are 428 and 823, so, I played it, 4283, hit straight/box. Some of the same theories, workouts, etc. work for pick 3 and pick 4. Sometimes, Missouri will give you the whole number, sometimes not. Take a chance. Good Luck
