Speaking of the crazy odds, I read this one recently from another article and it just cracks me up: ...a person who drives 10 miles to buy a Powerball ticket is 16 times more likely to die in a car crash than to win the big jackpot. I'm still convinced I'm gonna hit the jackpot though dammit!!! LOL!!

It doesn't say they entered and presented a winning ticket ranging from $3 to $10,000. If you wanted to steal a winning ticket from a customer would you feel safe trying it when they only asked you to check a single ticket and it was a $10,000 winner? I am looking at this article and notice this: July 23, 2012 is a Monday. 14 months later (September 23, 2013) is also a Monday. There is no Monday the 23rd between these two dates. If he was sent to jail on July 23, 2012, then he will be sent to jail on a Monday the 23rd and be released from jail on the next Monday the 23rd. I just find that kind of interesting.

That is great news but according to the article on the LP Lottery News forum, she's not going soon enough. The Georgia Lottery's board of directors will conduct a search for DeFrancisco's replacement. She plans to stay through the transition, and a departure date is not imminent or immediate. I recommend giving her an early retirement package and let her be gone already!
