Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
To address the question being asked, backtesting can be useful.
If one were to read of +1-2+1 or the Missing digists system, then by backtesting you can determine if the idea has merit. If not, you move on.
To address the normal distribution curves at the beginning of this thread, there is no mathematical way to determine the numbers in the next draw. There is no magical equation. Paul Erdos has some unique ideas but I have yet to find anything which I can twist to fit the lottery. (Nor do

Pick-3 Scientific calculator method
Each state probably has different scenarios as far as what works with this method. I'm backtesting and the inversion has worked lately for New Mexico.. However, I'm going to look into square root ,cube root and logs more.

I have to get more serious, seems like I need more focus, I start backtesting and get bored to easy, maybe I just needed a little break. Good luck to you and as always thank you for posting.

Interest In Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
Jimbooble!!!!!
Since your last post, my computer has done 2,397,997,620, +/- 585,686 calculations involving the lottery. You however, have done absolutely nothing to help those poor people who voted that backtesting and simulation might prove uselful.
You evoked the word backtesting and simulation in two consecutive threads and yet have failed to define it, explain it, or even attempt to describe any meaningful purpose it might offer.
One has to wonder if you know what you are talk

Remember what I said about my findings from Backtesting this............. A pick 4 always DROPS when there are NO Doubles in the P4's, I just noticed there are NO DOUBLES!......... So Look for a PICK 4 to fall from those numbers in the NEXT draw!

P-3 Generator- New findings
Backtesting in Georgia: since 1/1, 24 hits, 22 misses, 17 hits next day and 7 hits 2nd day (there were some hits beyond the 2nd day). Thanks Joker for looking deeper into this. Have a great night LP family.

Pick 3 Sniper Software System
I had it to spare at the time. It was my first time using any kind of software. Cant turn back the hands of time on that one. I played for $5 and $10 instead of $0.25 and $0.50. Didnt use blogs or any websites until recently so didnt use backtesting until I started following LP.

Strange and Amazing (and effective) method!!
I did alot of backtesting, I could see hits 3 or 4 days later, I did get alot of pairs, I think the problem is with d1 and d2 , your very limited on the pairs there. you'd never see 57 ,may I suggest using mirrors for a and c. good luck and happy winnings.

3/4 Cha Cha Cha More On The Missing Digit(s)
Perhaps do some backtesting with draw results from the Philippines see how often or if it works. If you have more than one workout (which you should) compare see perhaps what they both have in common.
