Interesting! But when this happens with a computerized draw, we have people screaming that the state needs to go back to ball drawings because they must be cheating with the RNG. Humans are very good at spotting patterns. It takes far more data (or physical evidence) to imply an unfair drawing.

I have used it, but the lottery keeps cheating. Whenever I play my numbers, they draw unlikely numbers on me. Like today, for example, it came 992 but I played 993. They knew what I was playing so they did a one off on me!

An individual who can beat a game like pick 3, statistically beyond just being lucky, is engaging in fraud. That's not a system (since all systems are worthless), that's a crime. That someone is putting weighted balls in the machine or uploading a program for the RNG to choose numbers of their choosing (Eddie Tipton). Without cheating, pick 3 is not beatable. Why do they need that much time when it's all systematic? Evidently it must have been against company policy for employees to purchase rejected tickets The stories I've seen have said the policy is that employees can't buy (any) lottery tickets at the store they work at , not just while they're working. There's also the whole deception angle of attempting to buy the ticket in the hopes that the company didn't yet know they owned a ticket worth far more than face value.
