$502 MILLION: Mega Millions grows to 10th-largest lottery jackpot of all time
Half-billion jackpot comes 6 years after first reaching the same level
By Todd Northrop
Six years to the day after becoming the first lottery in history to feature a $500 million jackpot, the multi-state Mega Millions game is right back at the same level, offering a $502 million grand prize to be drawn Friday evening.
During that nascent period in 2012, when the word billion first entered lottery jackpot discussions, Mega Millions tickets were being sold so quickly that the lotteries we

How a gaming geek with a checkered past pulled off the biggest lottery scam in U.S. history
Even though HTML (javascript) has it's own number generator, the article mentioned he wrote his own and they used it for different lotteries in different states. It could have been written in any language on any OS, as long as the results were straight text or XML, the webserver could pick it up and make HTML code for the web page. The trick to a good RNG is where you get the seed or the first number plugged into it. Most use the system clock, millisecond value when you launch it. Another trick

Is it possible to be anonymous in a non anonymous state?
Yo, , I remember what I post but your megalomaniac personality wants people to have posted what you thought they posted in your pitiful attempts tp make yourself right.
Here, I'll play your pathetic highlight game,
You still can't stay on topic or remember what you posted
Genius, this particular thread is about remaining anonymous in a non anonymous state. It doesn't matter how old the article is, the woman who won the jackpot did just that.
Crawl back into your little make believe

Pick 3 Forecast (Multiple States) 5th Edition
I could really beat myself up for just now finding out Illinois uses a computer random number generator instead of a mechanical. I love to watch drawings so I was searching to see if Illinois has a live webcast somewhere online and I came across an article from 2015 that said the Illinois lottery was switching over to a computer random generator. I feel when people already do not have a lot of trust in the people that run the lottery why in the world would you use a computer random number genera

Texas Lottery Goes Anonymous
Effective January 1st, 2018 the Texas Lottery now officially allows winners of $1 Million Dollar payout prizes or greater to remain anonymous. This includes Scratch Tickets, Texas 2 Step, Texas Lotto, PB and MM. While this is a great victory for players, there is one little note that should also be kept in mind. Should a winner want to claim their prize through the annuity method, then after 30 days the lottery commission can release their name. If you go to the website and look on the right han

Budget betting 2018, "Cans and Bottles".
Hello everyone. Many of you may have seen my article I wrote regarding budgeting for 2018. Well so far I have stuck to it even though the New Year has just begun. And I intend to stick with it with an exception to the rule. But the exception is a strong one. Maybe 1 day I'll share the exception with you, it will floor you. LOL MY BUDGET IS IN PLACE!!!
Anyways, getting back to budget betting (keeping the budget in place), what do you do with your cans and bottles in the pantry, the garage? M

I am CONVINCED only way you WIN BIG if they let you win!
Some of this is very entertaining while so much of it is actually sad. The sad part is that while our lottery entities and officials, in general, are great and have great causes overall, they are still embedded with ill operatives and motives . To not accept this premise without reservation of the facts is the gateway to manipulating a given type of people...in my opinion. To assert that there is no one on the inside of a stellar money-making gambling deal like the lotteries is trying to figure

How will the new tax bill effect lottery winnings?
KYFloyd responded with this comment; It depends upon how much they win Correct Floyd!
I just saw and read article that said these days you have to be worth 2.5 million to be considered rich .
Guess I'll still be a poor slob if I win a cool mill playing the Pennsylvania New Year's Millionaire Raffle. I'll walk away with only 665 grand in my pocket. I guess I'll just have to get used to the fact that I'll have zero debt, and a very cushy monthly income in retirement that will afford me the

Ontario Lottery awards man half of $6.1M lottery prize with remainder in legal limbo
why on earth would he say Other than something that's agreed to ...
He was talking about going to court if they can't agree on a settlement, exactly as he did in the previous paragraph of the article. The reason that either might settle is because anyone who's not moron knows that there's always a chance of losing regardless of how good your case is, and if it takes longer to reach a settlement or get a court verdict you may lose more to legal fees. There's also the hope that the other part

Arizona Lottery pulls second computerized drawing machine over duplicate numbers
Exactly! In my view, finding and exploiting RNG flaws is a great lottery system.
I'd like to see an article on RNG machine hardware along with how RNGs typical function in detail, including specific draw procedures.
One would think with all the scandals and problems, Arizona would go ball draw indefinitely. But it's cheaper and easier to use RNG. Presumably, AZ Lottery figures most numbers players will continue to play, regardless.
However, if these RNG problems keep happening, there ma
