Do some number combinations have better odds?
Probability defines the probable, nothing more nothing less. We could calculate the probability of the number of times each MM number should be drawn over the next 700 drawings and see it's around 59 to 65 times, but when looking at the last 700 drawings we'll see only 30% of the numbers matched that probability. If players understood probability, the question of the day would not be will the $50 million PB jackpot roll? . This is an good example of when calculating the probability does

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
winsum In the post I mentioned the 6 ID just to see if I was reading the data correctly. My question was a just a comment and not a suggestion which to play. The ID's change with 5 and 6 hitting most often. My software allows me to play any of the possiable ID's and allows a hi / low range when I can't decide on one. I calculate the odds for each ID before each draw. Sorry if I confused you. RL

what are the odds
You can calculate your odds more easily by calculating how likely the lottery is to miss your numbers. Multiplication rule of independent events If you have 10 picks, the lotto has a 990/1000 chance of missing your numbers (99/100) each day for 28 days. (99/100)^28 = .7547 (or 75.47%) This leaves you at a 24.53% chance to win $500 over a 28 day period with 10 tickets for each day. Long story short: $280 purchase with 24.53% chance to win $500. Wouldn't take that myself personally.

Alleged high-tech roulette scam "easy to set up"
An alleged high-tech roulette scam that saw three people walk out of a London casino with 1.3 million recently sounds too implausible even for a movie plot. But a physicist who developed a technology-based system that famously beat the wheel in the 1970s has told New Scientist that in theory it would have been fairly easy to carry out with a little know-how and the right tools. Two men and a woman were arrested on 16 March after raking in a huge win over two evenings. Suspicious casino staff are

RL's DMP-HT lottery tool is ready for download
frenchie I am not trying to be mean here but I wish many of the lottery programs I released would die off. Here is why, DMP has 55 user options and that's just counting those located on the main page. The idea, at least for me has always been to reach my play budget as quickly as possible while making the fewest choices possible. Here's what happened when most use many of the tools tools I have provided over the years. Instead of working on precision setups they kept moving

Pick 4 idea
Is the 90% factual or just an estimate. Some of the stats released for these games I find hard to believe and two digits repeating is not enough to win on a regular basis unless you know the exact two digits that are going to hit and if playing straight we also need to know the exact positions. Again lets say that we think the next draw will be a 12-way and we somehow know the 3 digits that will show. Wheeling 3 digits in a p-4 will produce 81 lines from which we still ne

quiz pick-4 daily game odds
Jade Based on my test play where the average hit rate is 9 of 12 step values, is it possible that I can calculate my odds for hitting all 12 by calculating the odds for hitting 3 of 3 steps. In my test play I managed 3 attempts with 11 out of 12. The other games ranged 8 to 10 the overall average was 9 of 12. Most of my misses are step-1 values which are always 1 in 3. It seems logical that I could get a good estimate by calculating the odds for hitting 3 or 4 step-1 values.

Minnesota retiree scores his second big payout in 2015
Turns out, when it comes to beating long odds, Jeffrey Bock has just the right touch. For the second time this year, the 65-year-old St. Paul retiree has struck lottery gold, with his latest odds-defying reward proving even more lucrative than the first. Bock scored a $100,000 top prize payout by matching all 12 numbers in Sunday's All or Nothing drawing, Minnesota Lottery officials said Tuesday. About eight months ago, Bock won $20,000 with a $2 scratch-off ticket. After Sunday's dr
