NY brothers claim $5M win from '06 lottery ticket
The saying is traditional and an accepted culture on earth.
Try and read the article, then read the comments and even long-time traditional enemies on this posts find themselves on common ground that the NY Lottery have failed players in the handling and proceesing of this 6 year old lottery prize by 2 sons of a store owner who sold the winning ticket.
If the brothers had the truth, they would have had no reasons to have proudly claimed this money 6 years ago, bank it or whatever and

Kentucky Lottery moving drawing show to the Internet
Why use a computer system to generate numbers anyway?
From the article: Our current production costs for the drawing are slightly over a half million dollars per year, said Kelley. By bringing this production in-house, a significant amount of what we were spending (around 95% after start-up costs) can be saved.
The KY Lottery will save $475,000 annually by streaming their live ball drawing on the Internet. The Tennessee Lottery uses a computer program for their drawings and it doesn't l

W.Va. Lottery has $81M surplus
If you were not so pretentious and condescending, you would understand that my hyperbole was directed at Government in general.
If the topic was government in general, I wouldn't have commented, but this article is about a state lottery that has a $81 million surplus.
Government at every level does not function in a fiscally sound manner.
That may or may not be true, but there are plenty of other places where that subject can be debated. You won't find any state lotteries running in

N.C. man charged with stealing $1M lottery ticket
The article is not about the US president Barack Obama, and your blatant accusation: Obama steals everyday! is baseless, unsurportable , cowardly and simply false.
There are means and mechanisms in place that allows you under the freedom of speech, and under the provisions of the law to vend your quarrels with the Obama administration, and this forum is beyond the scope of providing you the education for the realization of this releif.
It suffices however to note and to bring to your atten

A trick to remain anonymous?
I don't think a bank would do what you're asking simply because that's not what they're in the business for (accepting somebody's lottery winnings). I mean you could try, the worst that would happen is they'd say no, but I just wouldn't count on it.
I really doubt you'd get anything more from selling the ticket than you would if you claimed yourself or through a trust. Going by what I know of people selling their annuity payments or even shady sellings of other winning lottery tickets (f

Illinois Lottery glitch causes many duplicate Quick Pick tickets
Oh, boy...here we go. I guess that, once again, I'm the only one that sees something positive in this ordeal as always. Okay, now the last lady that ended up with duplicate tickets, in Virgina I believe it was, ended up winning TWICE ON THOSE TICKETS! I can fully, completely, wholely, accurately, and solidly guarantee that had this individual WON ON THOSE DUPLICATE TICKETS, she wouldn't be complaining at all folks.
Then again, maybe just maybe I'm dead wrong here with my analysis. May she wou

Winners of big lottery jackpots often crave anonymity amid challenges to do so
It's good that this subject is getting some honest press. This is a very serious issue, especially in states where you are required to claim publicly. It wouldn't be so bad if there were just, legit and honest reasons to do so. But, in each state where you have no choice in the matter, no such case is made. Most say they require public disclosure in order to prove 'there are winners and that the lottery is legit' (see Virginia state lottery website). However, those states which allow you to rema

Is Mirlande Wilson an Attention Seeking Fraud, or Have the Winning Ticket?
Good Day 2 all
We do not know if she has the ticket so we should not be judgemental of the whole story as of yet . Right now no one has come forward with the winning ticket . Growing up in the wonderful town of Baltimore county and the surrounding town it is very hard not to say anything and everything is possible . I wish her him or whoever holds the winning ticket much success in the next journey in their new life . My best friend hit the Md losers contest for a mere one hundred thousand a
