Mathematics and the Lottery
The implication of your statement/question here is that there is some REASON or CAUSE that resulted in these data. Since I don't think there is ANY reason or cause responsible, and YOU FERVENTLY BELIEVE THAT THERE IS...
You said RB28 always has a 1 in 39 chance of being drawn and now you're ignoring the statistic that proves RB28 had zero chance of being drawn in the last 270 drawings. For someone tauting the gambler's fallacy, it sure looks like by that statement you're trying to convince

W.V. Lottery ends 3-year losing streak
Yeah, understood, Todd, but the article reminded of some of the stunts casinos pull.
Let's say you have a casino that grosses $3.2 million in June of 2009. Then let's say the same casino only groses $3.1 million in June of 2010. So for the quarter ending June of2010 they stiff their employees on profit sharing saying business is down . But all those at the very top get theirs, of course.
Let's call it voodoo accounting.
rdgrnr,
Well said. Not just gov't though. A few years after

Massachusetts Lottery to end TV broadcasts
rdgrnr says in response,
Thanks for your attempt to circumvent truth by a deft comparison of apples and oranges by the liberal husband and wife team of SNOPES when neither of the two (apples or oranges) had anything to do with the topic at hand, Nancy.
But it's the thought that counts.
Inasmuch as the article I linked to deals directly with your phoney claim that lawmakers excluded themselves from Obamacare, it is precisely on point! Since you reject the Snopes team, perhaps you'll co

A Wheel Question...
Basically you're saying because these guy write gaming articles for the Casino City Times, they are THE casino industry experts.
All you need is the courage to face the possibility that Don, the two Michaels and me are right, and you are wrong.
I'm assuming you're saying I'm wrong about their credentials because you read their articles, found them fascinating and I find those articles useless information to me. The difference between you and me is that I read other articles written on th

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
The only people that law is going to affect is libs
That doesn't even make any sense. Read the article - don't just look at the pretty pictures! Unless you just want to remain stupid? Come back when you understand.
And while you are at it...try calling people by their proper names. You are the one that keeps bringing up queer stuff. Everything was quiet until you got sober and found your keyboard. You do nothing but throw insults around.
Everytime I try to picture all of the people

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
What a load of crap. Go back and read the beginning and you'll see that I didn't know you from Adam, so there was no need to get mad at you. In any argument I've ever had with anyone, It always starts with a conversation which leads to an argument because of many reasons. Get with reality already. Wake up from that stupor you're in.
As far as the other crap you wrote, I laid down many question which you refused to answer and that's a fact. I even copied and pasted a long article regarding the

GREAT DAD: Gives $400K lottery ticket to daughter
He didn't tear up the ticket so that nobody collected. He gave it to somebody who did collect. I trust you see a clear difference between the two. The ticket was worth 400k and he was entitled to that income. He was free to give it away, but nobody had the right to take it from him. It's being entitled to the money without substantial limitations that constitutes constructive receipt. Simply put, it's yours now if you want to pick it up. You probably already understand constructive receipt as it

Three largest online poker sites shut down by FBI
Naw, we're not guilty until proven innocent, but I'm sure we'd be shut down during an investigation as well if we were suspected of breaking laws... let's just see what comes out of it.
You're confusing the Pokerstars website with the actual poker games site. The poker games site was never shut down and the information given to U.S. Pokerstar players was shown two pages ago. Simply put, Americans can't wager on that site or any other, but the rest of the World can.
Canadians and other c

Should lottery winners share with colleagues?
When I read the article promoting sharing with colleagues it kind of made just a little bit of sense, though in a touchy-feely kinda way.
Then at the end I saw it was written by a professor at the University of California at Berkeley.
So I knew immediately that the whole thing was a bad idea.
It's the same way with legal issues.
If the ACLU is backing or defending something, you know it's not in the best interests of the country, the Constitution or common sense.
I'm glad we
