worst software ever??
red,Based upon the fact that you seem to be asking which software is the worst at picking combos, then I vote for just about every one that I have ever tried. I don't take seriously any software that throws up dozens of picks as a suggestion. I can grab any 24 picks and do just as well myself. I doubt that any software will ever be good enough to spit out 10 or less picks and hit on a regular basis. But if you are referring to software that provides analysis of the various factors based upon dra

Honest Lotto System
So your palying a 6/45 game and you get paid for hitting 5 numbers,I play a 5/36 game here in Miami,Florida along with the Pick-3, since you didn't mention Pick-3/4 games I guess you don't have them there. Now you say your using a 26 number wheel with 1 Power Number so you must be using Gail Howards Software Advantage Plus International version. How many combinations do you get? I also use her software but only for number analysis I don't use the Wheels in her program. Some of the Best software

The Math and The Lottery
I am finding after my hard struggle of trying to find good lottery programs to assist me with winning the lottery, that it is best to just keep a weekly or monthly tracking of the combinations whether it be by root, sum or specific number analysis. At this point, I think that I have been chasing my tale trying to find good programs. I would stay up for hours (and still do) eat, sleep drink lottery numbers, programs, etc; yet in the last month, I am finding that just by keeping a log of what ha

Lottery Prediction by Recurrence Analysis
I have actually used a technique similar to this for picking the GA Fantasy 5 numbers. On May 23, 2002 the numbers which fell were 07-09-14-20-32. I used a website on infospace to get most of these numbers. This site listed combinations of two numbers which fell together often as well as triple numbers which fell often. I used that months draws to come up with the combination of 20 and 32. Then from there I checked which triple numbers came along with that set to get the 07 and 09. These numbers

Introducing my 18 months work
I just want to comment on this part---filterswhat do you mean filters are gross rather then defined ?with a repeat filter you filter combinations against the past draws ( up to 256 ).this is the most powerful filter i think, and i havent found any software that deliver this.---There is a program that can do checks against past draws and even in perplexed format for advanced statistical analysis, beyond the 256 limit (theoritically unlimited if we have that huge history). As for powerful filter

Wisconsin Lottery switches to computers to select winning numbers
Quote: Originally posted by JADELottery on November 12, 2004I've heard it said by someone before that the balls have no memory and you can't predicted what will occur. Now that computers are picking the numbers, they do now.If there are any lottery program developers out there reading in on this, you need to revise your probability theory, statistical analysis, and calculated predictions. Computers can only simulate real world conditions; for this, there is a possibility that trends that once ex

The End Game
You've done your home work to the best of your ability and knowledge only to find out that not one of your lottery numbers matched any in a pick 5 or pick 6 game.Try attaching your analysis in another way. Take a count of what top 10/15 numbers occur the most in your combinations or picks. Keep a list and track how many of those numbers actually came up. I think you'll find the results interesting. If you consistently miss the picked numbers, then you'll know what numbers to eliminate. If you ha

Basic system analysis question
There seems to be a couple recurring elements of anaylysis. The most probable combinations and historical tracking.I've taken the historical approach as the highest prioity and the probable approach as the secondary consideration. While, from what I think I'm seeing, other people are taking the opposite approach.I feel that between multiple lottery machines, and the occasional changes of balls within them, makes tracking to a normalized probability curve questionable. In fact, the few times I've

Lotto Architect feedback
Your 7/47 lottery is not a common one and the system requires statistical data. 47C7=62 million possible combinations. This does require some tome to be calculated, add also the quantity of available filters increase this time too. The good news is that once these have been calculated, they are stored in the intrnal database. It's a run once task. You can do all other things (calculations, printing, analysis etc). The only thing you cannot use is rejection filters that have not been calculated y

Who realy notices this!
Each available number in a straight lottery (no bonus balls) has an equal chance of appearing. In all possible draws, each number will appear an equal number of times.Mr. Steel01's thread opener - and Ozzie Dan's response - had to do with positional analysis (what numbers are most often drawn in a given position when the numbers are sorted) and is a relatively effective way of eliminating (or highlighting) numbers which are least likely to fall in a certain numeric position in all possible draws
