Last nights PowerBall Results - 15 29 64 66 67 PB 4 PowerPlay was x2
Here's a perfect example of what I was talking about in my above post.
I went grocery shopping with my wife yesterday. While we were walking around in the store I reached in my pocket, and saw that I just happened to have three one dollar bills. So I went to the service counter and filled out a PowerBall play slip. I marked the PowerPlay box, then in the top panel I marked the QP box. I filled in #4 in the The PB pane

Powerball is coming to the U.K.
The jackpots may not rise as fast as they think. UK players will pay approx $5 a ticket due to the exchange rate. Plus they don't have the cash option.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Twenty years. Same numbers. Winning next to nothing.
I am astounded that you played the same numbers for twenty years. I am impressed by your persistence and patience. I am actually curious. Did you play the same numbers for Powerball, Mega Millions, and the other lotteries in your state? I would think that those numbers would eventually at least come close to win a smaller prize in one of those games over that length of time.
I used to get excited when jackpots where high. No

mathematics of re-playing small wins
I did my analysis on scratch-off tickets because most of the prize money goes towards lower prizes. With jackpot accumulation draw games such as Powerball, not much goes to lower prizes.
To summarize my first post, for the $5 Colorado scratch-off $100,000 Super Bonus, the average number of tickets played is 2.5x or 3x your original bankroll, depending on whether your stop point is $500 or $1,000. Not surprisingly, the improved odds of winning a large prize exactly correlate with the average
