Quick picks or your own numbers?Reply
I sometimes buy QP's if i'm in a rush or if i just feel it but most of the time i pick my own numbers. There are enough random variables when it comes to the lottery, I want to hae at least some control over whether i win it. Besides i'm from a small town and my college is in a small suburb so the chances of the few places in either getting the magic quick pick are minuscule compared to the amount of places in NYC or LA and it would be nice to finally have them be known for something.

The fortune cookie event..... It is entirely possible for 10 or 11 people to self pick the same combination given human nature. Add in 1 or 2 quick pick matches and thus a 12 way split.

Combinations, Patterns, Frequencies are the answers to winning along with a little luck. You cannot improve your odds in any given game as it is a mathematical formula based on the number of balls used in that given game. But, you sure in the heck can improve your chances of winning in any given game. You just have to know what to look for. On the thread listed below, I did my homework on the Ontario Pick 4 game. I tried the quick pick for pick 3 for midday and these f@#$ears gave me 283 even though I played 238 and 328 just before asking for a pick 3 qp.. man it was only a dollar they stuck me up for but dam give me another number other than a combination number I'm already playing Geeshhh

You should pick your own numbers for Pick 3/4, b/c it is usually a very long shot trying to win Pick 3/4 with Quick Picks. For Jackpot lotteries [PB/MM/Lucky for Life] you have just as good a chance winning with QP as choosing your own numbers, maybe even better, b/c most Jackpot winners are from QP [70% of the time. Pick 5/6 is 50% / 50% winning QP vs. Your Own Numbers.
