I did my own little study of this topic a couple of years ago using Louisiana Lotto(6 numbers) out of curiosity to see what the results would be. I picked a set of numbers to play for each drawing and also played a quickpick along side of it. After 70 drawings, the self picked numbers matched an average of 0.714 numbers per ticket, with most tickets matching 1 number. Doubles hit around 99/100 times a year. Approx 22+/- or so times they will hit in pairs. Tells us about 44 or so doubles hit in at least pair groups. *Half the time a double hits another double will hit. Bk to Bk double frequencies is a interesting thing to study About half the time a double hits a digit will repeat from that previous double. The moral here is, to take a stand and go with it every time. Don't chase back and forth.
