How did you come up with your last Win
Most systems can win in any state if you're lucky. When I predicted and matched 5of6 in Ohio's Classic Lotto back in February I thought it was my strategy and skill but luck played a part too. When I analyzed my system I leaned I could have matched 6of6 with a little more luck but all the chances to match5 or better were within parameters that could have produced over 100,000 combinations so all I really did was reduce my chances of a 6of6 win from 1:14M to 1:100K and got lucky. The same thi

Sorry for my late reply. Most people mistakenly feel that the best way of obtaining a win in pick3 is to look for missing structures. This method is flawed/inaccurate. Here is why : most digits, sums, pairs, combinations have already hit in pre-post draws that are done by the state lotteries away from the viewing eyes of the public. The state lotto's do this on purpose as a means to off set people who use pick3 software because it is difficult if not impossible to run an accurate statistical

Your assumption about plotting doubles/pairs/combinations is flawed/inaccurate. This kind of strategy often leads players to financial ruin plus it has nothing to do with statistical analysis. Here is why : there really is no way to plot doubles or otherwise simply because of hidden data in the form of pre-draws..most combinations that people feel are missing have already hit giving the player a false sense of security in placing their future bet. Time and time Ive tried to explain to p

If Your State Pre-Test's its Draws List it here
Add Texas 4 combinations for Pick 3, Texas Two Step and Cash5. 6 combinations for Lotto Texas. Mega Millions folks don't have pretests. They have a formula they use to determine if the balls are being picked on a random basis. The pretests are posted before the actual drawing, but not soon enough for anyone to use the data in any analysis they might be doing.

Phased Ocurrence Comparisons
Hi, Thanks everybody for your input. Paint1, For 6/47 here is one of my summaries over 201 games. The top horizontal row identifies lottery ball (1-5). The vertical column identifies how many times each occurrence occurred. So, Paint1, your assumption appears to be basically correct. My chart below would say that the best bet over a 5 game span would be 0-times, 0-times, 0-times, 1-times, and 1 to 2 times for the last ocurrence value. This proves to be a valuable filter, however it also leaves

Lottery Prediction by Recurrence Analysis
As an academic exercise I thought I'd calculate the total number of trajectories in the attractor for the lottery (it's a strange attractor, meaning lots of trajectories). The number is astronomically large, but I was expecting that. First, some simplifying assumptions.I'll assume the attractor is based on a 6 from 49 game. This mean 13,983,816 combinations in total. Next, that the game only draws each combination once (at the rate of one draw a week it would run for 268,919 years!)Now, how many

I think I am on to something big...But...
I like Jag's probability analysis on the pick3 pairs, although not complete, still very intuitive. It's unfortunate in Canada we can't play pairs otherwise an excellent strategy could be employed here. I'll have to look into it a bit or someone else may want to look into it further, but I would think that if you chose a set of pairs like Genius has in his post, say 16 pairs, 8 front and 8 back. Then wait until the Standard Deviation of skipped draws of those pairs hitting becomes equal to or g

Full wheels?
Wow, that hurts a little bit Ion. I am a huge fan of all your lotto software and analysis. Perhaps before you go off on somebody you should be sure of exactly what they are asking. Even if it was a dumb question...though it wasn't....I would figure at least you would reason what I needed it for and why. After that scathing response I have definately lost some respect for you. You should remember, I'm on your side Ion. I know which programs you have that can do the job, however, I was looki

Hidden opportunities within abbr. wheels

If you can pick one number you can win P3
BobP = Here is some info about the one digit that you might find useful. This is in regards to repeat digits from previous game played. When you are coming off a 3 different digit game and there is a 1 digit repeat, you reduce the 220 possible combinations to 84 possible combinations. This equates to 28 possible 3 digit combinations per each of the 3 digits that previously played. If you can eliminate 2 of those digits then you have only 28 possible 3-digit combinations to work with that inc
