I agree, nothing great about that. I wonder why in a multi-state lottery that the heads of the nationwide jackpot games chose to allow states to release exact location at their own pace but release which state has the winner within hours after the drawing. Me thinks this has something to do with a part of the agreement with the states to provide them with some type of power over the games rather than allow one larger entity to oversee and control all aspects of the jackpot games. Even though I can collect anonymously in Kansas, it does look like they do a press release, just without the personal information. I do have my own system (strategy) ... a very simple system ... simple enough that there are surely others that use it. I would not reveal it for the press release. OK. According to that info you pasted, only two types of entities outside of a natural persons can claim. How would you set up the LLC non-profit to be private? The State would know who the grantor is in the other case because it is required that the Revocable Trust is tied to a person and his/her social security. If the lottery/state is sued by media to release the name (assuming, they don't give it out easily) under California Public Records, what's going to support the decision of a lotter

I reminded them about the 1st $2 LFL top prize still not showing up in the table as of 3/22, which was said in the press release to be bough on 3/15, so it was claimed between 3/15 and 3/20 press release. I just noticed that 1 of the $2 LFL top prizes was claimed already. It was bought on 3/15, written up on 3/20 in press release, so must have been claimed somewhere in between.
