I have an idea of why that is............the scratchoffs have higher top prizes especially the 5 dollar ones.........for example the 5 dollar ones used to be 50000 or 100000 now some are 200000 or 250000............which means there are fewer lower and middle tier prizes...........meaning if you buy a book you will be less likely to profit...............it revolves more around the grand prize. I love how these so called men ignore the behavior of people like Arnold S. Fortunately Maria divorced him. It takes 2 to create a child. Nice to know lp has a solid low life quota of male lottery players. I really hope they do not have any daughters. Excellent point on splitting a big jackpot. To the OP, in Pick 3 and 4 games, you get full payout for each dollar spent, regardless of how many people hit the winning number. For example, you develop/follow a winning system for Pick 3 and play a $1 bet ten times for your number which comes up. You win ten times the single dollar payout. Yeah, the lottery industry needs to realize most players recycle the lower tier wins back in to the lottery most of the time anyway. In addition, if the lower tier win is big enough, it gets put in to the local economy; with taxes on those purchases... win-win for both the player and gubment. So, it would be the best interest of all, if the lottery industry would loosen their money bags a bit and crack off a little of that pot for those lower tier wins.
