The CA Lottery's standard press release after a big win could include more info like whether the ticket was a quick pick, and also where the 5+0 and 4+1 prize winners were sold, if any. (On any given PB drawing, there are less than ten 4+1 and 5+0 winners in CA, most of the time fewer than 5.) Players love that kind of info and it's all recorded in the database.
