comparison of PB and MM
I just play for the entertainment and what-if aspect..... The changes back in 2017 cured me of being a regular participant of the Big 2. After that, I never played either until the $200M CASH value reared it's ugly face. But with MM at $5 a pop and only a $10M increase after each of the first 4 draws? Nehhhhh, Thanks but no thanks......I can wait for that to get to at least $500M Cash... I have a coworker that is habitually late for work 2 nights a week, so they actually pay for all my lottery t

Conspiracy theory!
I was just sitting here thinking about this. The winning pb jackpot was sold in Kentucky. And now that I sit back and think about things. It's kinda odd. When I put things together. The ticket was sold at close to cut off time for buying them. It's been a really long time since kentucky had a winner. And everyone was complaining about when tickets sales increased they did not put the 50 million into the price increase. And remember this is me going down a rabbit hole. So don't chew my head off!

New Jersey Lottery to add third Pick 6 drawing
Good for NJ players. Unlike Kentucky et al, they still opt for Mechanical Ball Drawings!
On another subject PB increased by $14 million which is fine. Will be watching MM if no winner Friday to see their jackpot increase.

Texas Lottery Commission votes to ban lottery couriers
Meanwhile, Megamillions sales are still 50% lower in the number of tickets sold since the increase to $5.00 per ticket change.
Worse, the jackpot creeps up by $10 million a draw. We'll get to $1 billion by 2026 at this rate.

First big win of new Mega Millions game is one ticket in Ohio worth $112 million
Mega Millions is dead in the water. They shot themselves in the foot with this increase. OK, Friday nights numbers were impossible but no one cares because no one is playing it anymore. It is only going up 10 million next Tuesday. watch it only go up 7 million. Players will see that and say I wasn't going to play it anymore anyway because of the 5.00 a line but now for sure I am not playing it with this slow jackpot crawl. There is wholesale panic at Mega Millions lottery headquarters. Heads wil

I would think it would increase from what I've been tracking which would make it 666,111
Or false triple 166,161

Mega Billions
For Mega last night 4/11 there were 5,257,815 tickets sold. So about half as many tickets are being sold but at $5 instead of $2 they are bringing in a couple million $ than before the increase. Doesn't look like people are changing their budgets.
my guess is the regular players will stay in with their previous budgets and people that stay on the sidelines will come in at 600 or 700M jackpots instead of the 300 or 400. But with half as many tickets being sold the jackpot will prob onl

Mega Millions
Seems everyone is upset about the price increase. And the random number generated bonus option. But no one seems concerned with the larger percentage there taking with the cash option. So they raised the price. Forced you to buy the bonus game that's now rng. And they take a higher percentage in the cash option. This is wild! And it seems everyone forgot about the powerball blunder. Where they supposedly drew the numbers the next day. But the lady that was announcing the game kept saying tonight
