l would love to wake up one morning out here in CA to news like this. However, l seriously doubt that will happen. Our lottery thinks they have gone far enough. At present, they release the name, amount of the prize, city where the ticket was purchased- but not where the winner lives. Transparency, they call it, millions of players out here, call it Hopefully, one day it will change. I mean if pot is now lawfully sold in stores....

I should move north because here in Miami all these gold rush that I had bought have nothing, I'm not even get $20 back, I will keep playing the 100x because for me this gold rush is a rip off, unless you are lucky and get one of those $500 the rest are going to be crap, they make more looser tickets in order to pay $500 sometimes. I was playing the 10K a week for life but after someone got the top prize then is going take way more time to release another top prize on this.

Call a Lawyer, YES.....and I've often thought I might also change my name legally and then claim the jackpot, use a common unisex name ie: Pat Smith. Takes a bit of time but might be worth it. Then go rent a little apartment or a UPS Mail Box in a large city AWAY from where you really live to use as your claiming address on your Drivers License and for the for the city listed on the press release. Maybe then change your name back???

Well here comes the unfortunate news: If you live in a state where the whole media press release is required then you have to make an appointment. In fact I would be willing to bet that in most states an appointment will be a requirement just like bring some form of identification is one as well.

Did anyone see that Gold rush classic game was showing In the list of $20 games on the lottery site yesterday but is not there today? Did they delay the release of the ticket? It had odds for a $500 win was 1:153 which is better than the last 2 gold rush tickets.
