I matched NC pick 3 for 11/21/06 8-4-8! (straight) I should have played!! I used pcnut's 3,8,9 method but I included the 3,8,9 in my workouts and in NC it usuallys hits, backtesting on paper is a good way to go before putting money in it.

Good question,angeltat2! With this particular system I found that 5 days was my limit then I would change to a new set. Only backtesting for your state will give you better answers. Sure hope you checked out the +13 method on the other thread. Try them both out and see which does better! Good luck!!

I use 'some' backtesting, but not to try and predict the 100% future, but rather, to solidify my theories that you just CAN'T predict the future with 100% surety. Most lottery games have odds of 1:1000 or worst, so if you could predict the future with even 1% surety you would come out ahead. How much would be practical to spend to get that amount of accuracy would depend on the amount of the prize.

Hi Kola, Yep,I'll say it again, it really works! I've been backtesting for Calif. all day and time and time again it's right in the ballpark. Just oooooooone digit off from the front, usually. And those decimals help too in helping you determine whether to go up or stay on the number. VERY NICE. In fact, I think I'm going to go play some for tonight!

I didn't realize it was designed to be used from draw to draw,that's pretty quick! Whenever I backtest anything I usually give a number at least a week to drop so, to me, this is VERY impressive! As I'm doing more backtesting here, maybe I missed something, but what do you do when the number you start off with is say, 783 and you have to keep adding 43 to it? It seems like it runs out of numbers really quick or you get stuck in the 900's over and over again? What is this dummy doing wrong??

Pac, you could probably use one string indefinitely and I'm sure sooner or later you'll get a straight in there but all my systems are based on using current drawings with the thought that your next drawings derive from those. I've tested up to 20 days on using the same strings and they still had hits but would I risk that if I was playing real money? Probably not. I'd say a week is good, 2 weeks is probably better. Thanks sfilippo - So for today, looks like the key digits would be 741X? One thing to consider is to determine how many time a number falls with a specific digit. For example, the 7 shows 20 hits as key digits, but there are several doubles with 77 in them...... perhaps backtesting on actual numbers that contain the digit and not double count the doubles as 2 hits would be useful....just a suggestion!! After backtesting GA.. it is noticed that you get same results combining draws.. I hope the GA players played the numbers I sent today and grabbed $500 to spend this weekend..
