You are correct in that it is JAVA, however the individual files are written in EXCEL. You just dont see the EXCEL screens working in the background and working within the JAVA applet it produces results in a different format.The program has two folders along with 4 files outside those two folders. One file is the executable file, one is a data file, one a readme file and the 4th is a db file. One folder is labeled META-INF and the other Charts . Dont know what the META-INF is ex

THe key to this is that it's just a visualization and back-test of a coincidental system... the original system was based on a hunch, therefore any positive (or negative) results are purely coincidence.this would have been easy to put into Visual Basic as a stand-alone program taking last draw as input and spitting out the 9 generated combos, but then you can't see it evolve like you can in excel...it may not be a good new user-friendly intro to excel, but you can't go wrong putting in the tim

Formula Help
LottoFanI'm a RDBMS man using Access; flat file systems such as Excel are a bit too restrictive for me. My policy is not to intrude into other's area of expertise so I probably should have shutup. I know that Excel is very popular with members of this Forum.I remember distinctly seeing a solution for Excel because I looked at it and mentally noted that the solutions in Access were neater either doing it programatically or by cartesian joins.There's no point in me giving you the Access solutions
