weird DC Not anonymous/Anonymous possible via a trust or LLC. Anonymous question is not directly answered on lottery website. In the District of Columbia, specific lottery winner information is public record. However, a Powerball Jackpot win was claimed via a LLC in 2009. Louisiana requires sending a copy of a photo ID with claims sent by mail. They also allow photocopies of tickets to be mailed instead of originals(except Powerball and MegaMillions which require originals). I'd probably send copies if allowed and a copy of my passport or passport card as ID.

I wish there would a new Lottery drawing on Tuesday's and Friday's to replace Mega Millions for those of us who are only willing to shell out $1-$2 per ticket for a drawing. I currently get Fantasy 5 tickets and would rather throw that dollar at something that is at least a couple million after taxes. I guess I'll stick with Powerball and Super Lotto Plus until something changes.

As far as I know, they do not advertise the size of the second tier prize. But, by looking at the size of the prize in the previous draw and whether or not it was won, it is easy to extrapolate the size of the prize. I do not think people usually buy Powerball or Mega Millions tickets based on the size of the second tier prize.
