Yes. It's about a three hour drive, round trip for us to drive to La. That said, in spring like it is here in deep East Texas, all the trees are in bloom so it's a nice Sunday drive. Powerball unlike Mega Million here, you can play up to 20 draws which is a great help.

This is why you can't believe everything you read. NC does have the Powerplay multiplier option up to 5. The 10 is suppose to come in the spring for a few weeks. Now let's just hope NC does not try to increase that $2 ticket to a $3 ticket just because it's going to 10. We will have no lottery at all then because people are not going to pay for something extra especially when we have a BAD lottery. Yes, it's bad.

Rick That is awesome...I have definitely tested the chemical properties of my Lipitor down here with some of the greasy spoons littered all over SC! I am now anxious to get a few Wrigley Dogs and some nice Chicago pie!! We are planning on getting our rear ends up there in the Spring for the beginning of the season. I haven't been to CHI in probably 25 years.

I agree. Midday Pick3 makes sense. I have heard they may put that into place along with Pick 4 in the Spring. I don't know that for sure, but have heard that from some people that are interested in it. Now that I'm a Ft. Mill resident, I can play Pick 3/Pick 4/Pick 5/Powerball in two different states...that is convenient, especially when the online stores get yanked away soon.
