Quick Picks Just Plain Suck Sometimes
correction: an extra 5-8 listed under 13 . KY Floyd, Thanks for reply and analysis to post. I counted 24 instances of 7 and 19 of 8. Did I miss any? Coin Count after corrections. 1. 18 2. 19 3. 27 4. 27 5. 27 6. 24 7. 24 8. 18 9. 16 Unless you think there's a reason to draw multiple coins I'd simply draw a single coin, or at least record them as individual selections instead of sums. There are more combinations that add up to 9 than 2 and 17, but su

NEIGHBORS Mirror combinations
There is a place where VTRACS and NEIGHBOR'S MIRRORS meet. A Crossroads where one and only one set is inclusive and all others are excluded. When a set from a daily drawing is converted to VTRACS and NEIGHBORS you see that from that same set, two different views of the 220 group of all combinations represented in the respected VTRAC and NEIGHBOR. That is what I call a forward conversion. Likewise a backward conversion can be made starting with the results of the last draw. The 125 group

Chi testing on non-public powerball data
You could say that my journey started when I wanted to know if forecast predictions could be made on random numbers. This quest will probably carry with me throughout my life. It is currently being applied to the lottery though, despite all those who have told me there's absolutely nothing to analyze (when the programmed word random is applied). Seven years ago, I pulled up the PowerBall and the Fantasy 5 (now called The Pick) number histories. They were both similar in the idea that rando

What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
I use the term good luck now and then but it is just part of the vernacular. I think luck plays a very big role in the games because it is just another watered down superstition. It might be the underlying definitive of all superstitions. It is a belief system, and therefore a system in itself. Gail Howard used the term Smart Luck to describe her products. She included some kind of horriblescope for number selection if one was so inclined to depart from number analysis. Suckers love their supers

North Carolina: 12/1 - 12/31/2009
10 reasons WHY it is very difficult to win at pick 3... 1.) If you only play 1 combination the 99.9% degree of Certainty is 6049 draws which means you COULD spend 6049 dollars trying to win a 500 dollar pot.. 2.) The odds are not 1/1000..! 3.) NCEL pays out VERY VERY little for a straight win and the odds are WAY WORSE than roulette at Vegas..!! 4.) NCEL pays out very very little for a six way win and even though you have six ways of winning your odds still aren't good..! 5.) Most

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
No, while my RNG does have a key numbers feature I've never used it to pick combinations because the smallest group I've ever felt might have numbers that might hit was ~30. Last Friday I felt that a group of forty numbers might have the winning numbers so I played 20 lines using all those numbers and had three 2+0 and no bonus numbers at all. When I noticed how the winning numbers had hit in previous drawings and the combination was within the parameters I had chosen, I decided to run a simulat

Pick 5
If you are designing a Pick 5 number predictor, you need to include something besides number analysis. Lot of folks rely mainly on past draws, followers, etc, etc, but I seldom see any comments regarding what I call 'structures.' For example, when winning combinations are converted to letters (A = 1-9, B =10-19, C =20-29, D = 30 to last number in the matrix), one can see that not every combination has one or more numbers from each number group, or decade, or whatever. In Florida Sunday, th

Gap Strategy - MegaMillions - 012709 All of my alphanumeric substitution and structure inventories and charts continue to suggest that 4.point structures BCDF and ACEF are good plays. JADE's Pick 3 Pick 4 Selector Now Available
There is no problem in the way you are using JADE Pick 3 Pick 4 Selector. Random numbers are random numbers and it does not matter at what point in the sample you get the numbers. If they are truly random, there will be no dramatic difference from any of the numbers you use. Also, use this program a you see fit. Experiment with it and see what other ways it can help in selecting numbers. In addition, if you would like to alter the numbers after they are selected by using a 1 up/1 down method, Gr
