Joy Joy, I lost my 13yr old Chihuahua named Candy in 1999, two weeks after the Flood of the Century. She died of old age, and I still miss her. My heart goes out to you. A dog becomes a member of your family and it hurts when they're called home. This Spring, I've made up my mind to get me another dog. It will ease the emptiness in my heart. I would first buy 700-1000 wooded hilly acres and develope my own private campground for myself and family members. I'm talking an initial investment of around 2 to 2 1/2 million dollars.
