Would You Have Won Back When With What You Know Today?
I'm the other NO voter. If it wasn't for excel, I'd give up this chase. Excel back then wasn't as good. Back before the internet, you had to learn excel or a programming language on your own. That seems hard. Odds are worse now, but ways to collect and decipher data is much better. You just need to think outside the box. One more thing, I didn't know Jack back then. I just started playing the lottery three years ago.

Straight to Boxed Converter
All I have to work with is excel. The oldest version I use is excel 2007. In excel 2007 I use the Concatenate function with small function to get the box number sets. For example it would look like ... =CONCATENATE(SMALL(A1:C1,1),SMALL(A1:C1,2),SMALL(A1:C1,3)) where a1 to c1 are the un boxed as drawn numbers in this example. Dont know if this works in other Spreadsheet programs like Google docs or Open Office, however I am sure if you look at the function list and syntax you may find similar fun

The reason i ask is that i notice excel bogs down when the spreadsheet get to be larger than a few megabytes in size. I thought it might be the computer however i have loaded the same sheets with the same excel 2007 in both 32 and 64 bit versions of windows. Is it any better in office 2010? Or 2016? Loading up thousands of draws plus calculations seems to bring it to a standstill. Also tried it on diff

Next we need to download the Excel files:
a Download and Save the following zip file to the sub-folder Pick3ExcelFiles1
https://app.box.com/s/w293ne3cup9miexz2468i8txemy5g8nz
Inside the zip file are 2 Excel files:
1 P3StateDrawsLS.xlsm
2 DM2.xlsm
b Unzip the 2 Excel files above into the Pick3ExcelFiles1 sub-folder.
We will be using these 2 Excel files to create game text files. These text files will be necessary when we start using the program String-pos.exe .
