CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Yep, and you only need to look at the main scratch results thread, and see all the guys on the east cost spending hundreds on $20 scratch games in one sitting, often getting less than half back. You gotta be able to take some serious pain to play heavy on $20 games.
I tried some during lunch today downtown, 1 ticket each from 3 different stores. Got $20 on 1, other 2 lost. Gee, that's just about the exact hit rate and (horrible) return I should be getting at this level according to the chart.

Flight attendant wins $1M Georgia Lottery jackpot
IMO a person who wins a $1M lottery prize isn't really a millionaire as many of these $1M scratch games are annuitized amounts ($1M paid out over 10-20 years isn't the same as $1M in today's dollars), and in the cases where they are cash value, the winner has anywhere from 25 - 35% deducted for taxes. So it just irks me when all these different state lotteries make that claim in regards to their scratch-if games.
Now I did see one state that is has offered a $1M taxes paid scratch-if game...t

Maryland Lottery helps taxpayers hit jackpot
The article is probably saying that the scratch games represented the biggest chunk of the $902 million. They could have chosen better words.

Lottery sales in Pa. hit record $3 billion
I don't think Unlucky for Life helped with the record sales. I bet a number of PA scratch games sell better than UfL.
