After months of pounding numbers calcu.....
RJOh: There are lots of lottery games with overall odds of winning a prize of 1:10, so if you're willing to buy 30 chances each time, you will probably win at least one prize($1 or a free ticket) every time. Ohio Rolling Cash5 and West Virgina Cash25 are just two of such games. I don't live in Ohio or West Virginia. Here, in NY, playing 30 dollars on a QP will almost gaurantee a total loss. I know. I've tried. Original Post by pacattack05 Also.

a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
Good way to get a non-lottery topic on the discussion board. Anyway, I agree with RJOh - he's way too rich to accept such a position. I don't feel sorry for him. Many of these celebrities continue to work way past the age of retirement because of their egos, the fame and the easy fortune I doubt if he'll be headed to the homeless shelter anytime soon. I'm guessing he's been making an 8 figure income (anyone have that info?) more than most of us will make in a lifetime. Put this i

Million Dollar Suggestion!
Mail/and or give one to 10 tickets to total strangers anonymously I don't think you can mail lottery tickets, but maybe that's only across state lines. I agree with RJOh since it would be better to donate the money to a local food bank or animal shelter, so you know you are truly helping people. (animals are people too) Now you really have to be unselfish to give away Millions to a total stranger with no strings!!! You aren't giving away millions, considering the odds. Howev

Crossing state lines.
I apologize for voting yes since I never cross the state line any more. I read your post after I voted and you were only referring to the current game. oops! I used to travel from NH to MA all the time, but the New England states are very small compared to Florida. I live about 400 miles south of the border. Maybe I should move to Jacksonville! Regarding mailing tickets across state lines, the rules were originally established to prevent people from selling lottery tickets to make a prof

What's the oldest ticket you've found stashed somewhere?
Justxploring I've seen tickets in trash cans, but I never checked them out. Personally I keep tickets for 6 months to a year in a shoebox. Then I dump them. They're only good for 180 days months from the date of the drawing anyway. You should keep them for the tax uyear just in case you win anything reportable. I hope this doesn't open a can of worms, but the law is you can dedcut your losses up to your winnings (but you have to have proof). You can't win $1,000 and then say, He

Sex offender wins $14 million Florida Lotto jackpot
First of all, RJOh, I never said life was fair or not fair. Fair is only a term that applies in baseball. I started my post by saying he won fair and square by playing the lottery and having the winning ticket. No argument about that, JAG331. The game is random and doesn't choose the winner by his or her past achievements or failures, thank goodness. We also do not know what this man's crimes really were. Some states label a person as sex offender if he's caught peeing in public, although he ha
