are you really that concerned about the person who won the jackpot? well if you are get over it, no one cares, do you think the winner cares about you? i don't think so, so why do you care about him/her. and we know from where it was bought that the winner is old, never plays regularly, and odds are it was a quick pick...

I have not won a single prize from PB since last November, although I did win $2 from Mega Millions when I splurged on lottery tickets last Christmas weekend. If I don't win anything from Powerball this week, I'm going to try playing the same quick pick for three consecutive draws (three is the magic number because the smallest prize is $3).

Well, I saw the harsh light last Saturday. I PowerPlayed and didn't hit a single number, just like the only other time I PowerPlayed. In fact, I'm going to disregard PB jackpot sizes and play only one quick pick every draw no matter how high or low the jackpot is. Also, I'm no longer playing Mega Millions, even if its jackpot is huge. It takes only $1 to dream of winning a life-changing jackpot, which is pretty much any Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot.

I have and still use lottery vault. I had one of those free memberships to there and figuired i would give it a try since i usually only play quick pick numbers. I tried it with jersey cash 5 and i hit on it. granted it wasnt anything big , it was just minimal prizes but i had more numbers with using lottery vault then by using quick picks or picking my numbers personally.

BobP - As far as I can see from the playslip, one can allow a quick pick of just the mega ball, just all the white balls, or all balls, but not any number between one and six.

Doesn't your lottery allow you to mark two numbers and allow Quick Pick to select the rest? Mark several tickets that way, any time your two numbers come in the odds are pretty good of a #3 win at least. BobP

No superstitions other than continuing to want to play the same two numbers I heard spoken when I was falling asleep about 20 years ago, both of which were picked in the next drawing after hearing them. Most of the intervening years I have not played lotto at all or just used quick pick, but whenever I do choose my own numbers, I always seem to go back to including those two.

I only play pick 3, I have not won much, but the few times that I have won, was because of a system. I have never had any luck with quick picks,I'am not knocking them, they just don't work for me.

I have won more money using systems/methods than I ever could with quick picks. Of course, this is for pick 3 and 4. I do quick picks with the Powerball... but am currently beta testing a program for a developer and he can normally get the powerball plus 1 number. Nothing major yet.
