i will do one of two things:1. i will pick one set of numbers, and the rest of my sets will be quick picks.2. in the dvent that the jackpot is so high that i get more than 5 tickets, or i get less than 5 tickets, i will split it in half, getting half quick picks, and the other half hand-picked sets of numbers.no wheeling, no crunching, no nothing.

Well, once again I was saved by a PowerBall number quick pick. The machine gave me the 26on the same line where I hooked up the 21 and 45. It still didn't get me over the hump. I spent $10 and got back $7. Oh well, I'll fire at 'em again on Saturday. Congrats to everyone who cashed a ticket.Good luck,aye'

Dr If memory serves me they went directly to the lottery headquarters and made some sort of deal with them. I vaguely remember they ended up splitting the jackpot with 2 other people thereby loosing more than they invested.Hears the other problem with your idea even if you could afford to buy out all the numbers theirs no way of knowing if somebody else bought the same numbers as you or that the lottery quick pick didn't kick out more than one winning ticket.

AAARRRRRRRRRRRGH!! The numbers on my quick pick were 15-18-25-49-50 and 51 as Mega Ball. The numbers drawn were 24-32-42-49-50 and 3 as Mega Ball!!!!! I haven't yet got a single dollar back from either Powerball or Mega Millions since April 14, 2004, yet this is at least the fifth time between both games that I've hit exactly two white balls since.

My dad actually won $100 from this drawing. His PB ticket had the numbers 15-32-35-49-52 and 40 as Powerball. His ticket was a quick pick, and he did not purchase the PowerPlay option. Yes, he was just one number away from $5,000 and only two numbers away from $13 million!
