I thought I'd post a small update dealing with last night's PB drawing. I had 5 tickets with the extra dollar. I was pretty sure I had hit the PB last night after I went online to check the numbers early this morning. You ask (even if you didn't, I'll pretend you did!) ... how could you know you had a hit ... very simple, that lousy 2 multiplier came out again. I checked my first 4 tickets and nothing ... the last ticket had 8 for the PB ... so I got $6 ... I've gone through $70 ... 5 $2 tickets

Kristin, I look at a bunch of different stats, I do it all on Excel...it's a labor-intensive project when I really want to analyze the numbers. I'm not sure it helps either!! The first month I started I hit 4+0 for $100 on PB and it's been downhill ever since! Because of the time it takes to get the exact numbers I want, I usually do only PB or MM, if any at all. I'm sure lottery software would help me save time, but most of the fun is tearing apart the draw history and looking, looking, try

I do it this way. I selecy a group of #s that I arrive at by my methods and ignore all combos contained in the group. For instance, for PB draw on 9-1, I have the following numbers. 1,2,3,4,7,8,13,14,15,18,19,21,22,23,24,25,26,28,29,30,31,33,36,38,39,40,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53. That's 38 #s which contain 501,942 five number combos. I wont have any play where all 5 of the numbers I play are included in the numbers listed above because I have figured that the above #s do not includ

fja:Do you consider a ball to be hot because it hit 3 or 4 times in a month? Do you play that # then?I always considered a # to be a HOT number only if it has hit more than five times in the last ten games, or hit twice in a row, or hit then skip then hit again. And usually, if a number hits that hasn't hit in ten or fifthteen games, most generally it will get hot most of the time, not always though. andrew- i pick my numbers using the entire history of the game. i use differant methods to determine the numbers i'm going to play. then sometimes if i have time i will go back and look at it again and sometimes i will change a few numbers. on tuesdays draw a play five lines out of the five i had numbers 26-44-47. 26 on two lines, 26 and 44 on one line (had 26 three times) and 47 on one line. had 22 for my mega ball. usually just play five lines unless jackpot get above 50 million then i play 10

VD,I have been in pools before. Before I retired, I was it a pool at work and the biggest problem wasn't trust, because we made copies of the tickets and every member had a copy. Three times we matched 5 of 6 when Ohio paid more than it does now and the problem was who would collect and pay the taxes, because unless we won the jackpot, only one person could collect the winnings. We all were working in a skilled trade and getting a lot of overtime and chances were who ever collected the money

I need to say that I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, not New York. However, for family reasons, I travel to New York City several times a year (as I will go to Bronx to visit my relatives the upcoming Christmas). When the clerk didn't give me the freebie I was thinking, how could this be, the freebie ticket automatically comes out with the $5.00 one? (just as you posted). I was gonna say, I have been dumping it into Excel for six years, but I quit doing that because I don't have the time to do ALL the stuff I used to do, that took about 16 hours a week. Regarding TG only, I can see what I need to see just by looking at the prior TG's. I learned enough about the game years' ago that I can look at what I need to look at in the TG in maybe 5 min at most.
