I once filled in a 8 euro form by mixing around 15 numbers. I didn't win much, forgot to put a cross for playing the whole week. The next day 13 of my 15 numbers came out. I would have won over 750 000. The set of numbers kept hitting the rest of the week. I was shocked. Similar happened to me for lotto, finally I had a 5/6 in lotto, this year an 8/10 in keno, without playing big wheels. The pick wasn't a hazard, I played it for a reason. I used VBA, I pick in couples and single numbers

TIGGS, ya made me laugh HARD!!!! It was an EXCELLENT PROFITABLE day for betting MLB for me!! Unfortunately NOT for me and the WORLD CUP as I dropped $14,330...and brought my WORLD CUP totals to a -$28,460!! Tiggs, you're right about that...tough loss for the Natioinals too!!! Lost $1790-- ...brings my ytd to +$7178. Today i took Boston -135 and they are ahead in the top of 7th I laid $2025/$1500.......been too busy today with World Cup soccer...but definitely making $$$ on baseball... I even forgot to get to the Citgo to buy my $20 scratch offs...was about 2o mins late and my 2 cop friends were scratching like crazy as one had a $500 winner.....i made $7...WOOOOOOH

Oh tiggs, I didn't shoot you down, in fact am happy to hear about any win anyone can get. The purpose of my post was to maybe sway your opinion of luck and how often it's a factor in things like this....numbers, races...just in general - gambling. That's all. Tiggs, I think Big Brown will do fine from the 20 post. In fact it's a good spot for him. He'll be able to avoid early taffic problems in the stampede to the first turn. He has enough speed to get in good position early on the outside. In this race that's a good spot to be. Pyro ran a terrible race last....not a good prep for winning the Derby and I wouldn't recommend him. My picks are in pretty much in agreement with dbello.... Anyone here taking the million dollar portfolio challenge on cnbc.com I'm giving it shot having never really invested on my own besides the portfolio's i had when i worked. I find it interesting for some reason. Since the game gives you 1 million fictitious bucks to play with you can find out for yourself how well you could do investing for yourself.
