$1.3 billion Powerball winner revealed by Oregon Lottery as three people splitting jackpot
I read in another article that they are splitting it equally 3 ways. So the fact that Chao is getting only 1/3 of the jackpot strongly indicates that she paid 1/3 of the total cost of their shared tickets. Plausibly, what happened is the husband (and wife) bought $200 worth of tickets, then later called up Chao to ask if she wanted to pitch in $100 more to buy more tickets on top of what he already purchased. That would make $300.

California winner of $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot is lauded as kind family man by neighbors
Weird that the article says Struyck is the representative of a group that won $1.765 billion and the other members of the group have not been named but it sure looks like this discussion is assuming Struyck is the sole ticket owner. Can't recall in the past where the neighbors' of another spokesman of a group of jackpot winners were interviewed

$1.3 billion Mega Millions lottery winner's family sues him for not sharing jackpot
Artist makes some really good points above. Brock Lee also made an interesting point he split the prize with a gf who isn't his baby mama . Db101 added further clarification the most plausible explanation is that they went halvsies (with gf) on purchasing some tickets for that drawing. Lotteries split prizes among members of lottery pools all the time, whether it's a pool of 2 or 20 .. That gf's existence is irrelevant to the story here My take is unless plaintiffs can prove John Doe did not hav

Winner of $95 million Lotto Texas lottery jackpot gamed the odds to win
I read the article while on my way to the store to buy my $3 Powerball ticket for Mondays draw. I almost made a U turn back home then I thought, I am the 8% and I still have a chance, so still got my ticket. Now if you are in an office pool and your total budget is $50, take heart we are in this together

$1.08 billion Powerball lottery winner Yanira Alvarez filed claim for jackpot over five months ago
Very well written article. Could one imagine being before the Judge facing felony charges for attempting to falsify a winning ticket? I'm slightly confused, maybe too early, IDK. If this the same store where that lady was in that store exclaiming she was the Powerball winner? Then she drove off in her BMW!

$1.3 billion Powerball winner revealed by Oregon Lottery as three people splitting jackpot
The established, incontrovertible fact that Chao is getting only 1/3 of the jackpot strongly indicates that she paid 1/3 of the total cost of their shared tickets. ' where is this said in the text? At no point can I see the distribution stated. the article is perfectly clear . There was no suggestion that Chao supply the $100 to buy more tickets.. the text (as I quote once more) very explicitly says.. He purchased $200 worth of Quick Pick tickets for the April 6, 2024 drawing a

Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
@ Artist77, What would exactly be the claiming procedure in a US Anonymous State, for example, SC or GA, should one hit the big one, especially, if, one were to approach their State's Lottery HQ through a Lawyer representing a Trust, PMA, or LLC? In light of these events with Allwyn, and, seeing responses after this article, and, also taking into account outside factors, such as, current political climate in the UK, THERE, and perhaps reaching its way HERE because of OURS, it brings al
