Agreed, a second-chance drawing on scratchers is value added to me, as long as the second-chance prize is $$$! Florida Lottery offered a second chance on the Gold Rush scratch-offs, and the prize off ered was a trip to Vegas. No thank you; show me the money!

I bought and have been using commercially available lottery software for many years and mostly play a 5/36 game. My experience has been this - I've frequently won many small prizes ( by matching 2 and 3 out of 5 numbers) occasionally a 4 out of five match, but never a 5 out of 5 match. Although I've never refused a ticket that was created in error, it's my understanding (but I dont have any proof of it) that if the customer refuses the ticket, the cashier has three choices. Also, I've never had a conversation with any clerk in any store as to what their options are when a ticket is created in error.
