I like to pick 3 or 4 numbers for each of the lines I'm going to play from the pool of numbers that appeared in the last 10 drawings. Over the life of FF5, an average of 4 of the 5 winning numbers in any given drawing came from the last 10 draws. The down side of doing this is that you're usually picking from a pool of 24 to 26 of FF5's 36 numbers. That's a lot of numbers. But there's no doubt that doing this helps a little . Agreed - winning a Pick5 jackpot isn't as life altering as winning millions. Yeah, the thrill of the chase... For a long time (more years than I remember) I've been chasing a Pick5 jackpot, but it never happened for me. One thing I feel good about is that I know I gave it my best shot. I haven't totally given up on it, but I've slowed my lottery spend quite a bit. Should I ever be so lucky to win a small jackpot, I'd keep playing too. G5

There have been times when the jackpot resets to 20M and I buy a ticket every single draw and win nothing, aka zero, nada, the whole run until someone wins it at almost a billion.
