Algorithms for number selection?
It all depends on what you call simple. When Massachusetts had a run down of their state game when the jackpot hadn't been won after reaching more than $4M and would be shared among the second prizes winners, the couple from Michigan thought buying $150K to $300K worth of tickets to win a few second prizes a simple solution to winning part of the jackpot. But if I ever came up with an algorithm, it wouldn't be simple if it required me to spend more than $25-$50 to win, even win big.

Your own personal "supercomputer" for number crunching?
That's always the case, Pac. They don't care how you went about losing, but let a few people win and it's Let's go investigate the fortune cookie factory or Those numbers were shown on a T.V. show... , but they can hide and (mess) up without consequence. Bah, you can't even get tips without their hand out again (double taxation, that). For those of you who play p3 p4, just look for those glitches and load the boat like this guy in Michigan did: from their state lottery site LANSING, April

Random Skew Vs Bias
As I remembered, George was quite serious about playing lotteries both at Maybell and LP, hired some programmers, wrote some programs and even started a website. What ever happen to him after he moved from Michigan? Did he beat the lottery or did the lottery beat him? Maybe he will pop in one of these days and give us an update.

Good or Bad
Maybe Colin or John could answer this one for me.I posted two sets of numbers for michigan last week.http://www.bayesoft.com/freebies.htmlThere were one set of eight assorted numbers and one set of eight doubles. After fourteen draws, five out of the eight assorted numbers hit boxed. Statistically I think it went well for my first week back. What are your figures?

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
The is a point where if a certain amount can't be charged for a ticket, the game isn't worth having. Retailers are in business to make money and many think the 5 commission per ticket they get now isn't worth the trouble. Michigan tried a game called pocket change a few years ago that could be played with 50 or less and it failed. Maybe when states have Internet games that involve less people, 50 games will be more popular.

Pick 3 and The Upper Extreme
The last time 705 straight was drawn as the midday number in Ohio was on 4/01/04, which is 782 consecutive midday drawings ago. I verified the draw on the Ohio Lottery web site. Are you adding skips together? For example, if the number 705 is out in Ohio for 781 games and out in Michigan for 100 games, are you giving it a skip of 881 games?
