lottoman626, I see from your profile you live in the US. Just a heads up, Mario's Lottery Groups is based in Canada. If you join lottery pools through that site, your groups tickets will be held by a person outside the US. That's fine if you want to play Canadian games for some reason, but unwise for several reasons if you are pooling to play US games. It's safer to join a pool whose organizer lives in the same country and only organizes in-country lottery pools.

I am in a subscription group for Lotto Max. The pool buy tickets for every draw. I joined when the jackpot was getting large but it was won in the last draw. There are a lot of people in the group. It was OK when the jackpot was $70 million. Not as good now with a jackpot of $19 million.

I had a pool with coworkers for a time. Every payday we'd buy a mix of Powerball, MegaMillions, and Lotto tickets for the upcoming drawings. I would also send a PDF scan of the tickets to all the members. Won some small prizes, but never a jackpot. Just wasn't to be.
