Interestingly, it appears the official Mega Millions website got it wrong. The actual estimate for tonight is $1.13 billion , not $1.12 billion. That's a difference of $10,000,000, so not insignificant. I will cross-post this on the Powerball story too, since there's discussion about it there.

You know, I'm sure it has cupholders, but the question for me with cupholders in a Corvette is how deep they are. I never put actual drinks in mine, because whatever is in the cupholders tends to fly out when you get on it. They are always too shallow. Corvette cupholders should come with some kind of extra locking mechanism for whatever is sitting in there.

I've been watching that one too! Only about $5 million from its all-time high. After some more digging I wanted to correct this: The largest NJ Pick 6 was $48.9 million in 2001. The problem is that I only have jackpot info for that game going back to 2002. If someone is aware of a source that goes back further I'd love to see it.
