Feds bust up illegal fantasy football lottery scheme
A business pairing the enormously popular fantasy football leagues with the Georgia Lottery must have looked like a money-making combination.
Two eager investors thought so and forked out $500,000 in loans to the Atlanta man who hatched the idea of a fantasy football lottery league. China lottery corruption probe sparks online outrage
China's government is attempting to downplay social media rumors that lottery administrators have embezzled nearly $20 billion from lottery proceeds.

College students audition to become a Lottery announcer
Nine students from several Rhode Island colleges gathered at Twin River Casino Wednesday night to audition for jobs reading the Daily Numbers and Wild Money numbers for the Rhode Island Lottery.

Study: Seven Ohio residents won the lottery more than 100 times

An analysis of an Ohio Lottery database reveals that seven Ohio residents have won the state lottery more than 100 times in the last three years.

Louisiana Lottery showed incorrect winning numbers for Pick 3, Pick 4 on March 12
The Louisiana Lottery Corporation drawing show that aired on television on March 12 showed the wrong numbers for Pick 3 and Pick 4, the corporation announced.
The correct Pick 3 winning numbers for the drawing are 0-4-7. Additionally the correct Pick 4 winning numbers for the drawing are 3-1-8-4.
Both sets of numbers were correctly displayed on Lottery Post's Louisiana Lottery Results page, despite the wrong numbers appearing on TV.

Spain's El Gordo lottery sparks celebrations across Madrid
Workers at a home for the elderly were among those celebrating Thursday in Madrid, Spain, after all the tickets with the top prize-winning number in Spain's 2.3 billion (US$2.4 billion) Christmas lottery were sold in one city neighborhood.
