Powerball lottery jackpot soars to $116 million
Even though the grand prize was not hit in Wednesday evening's drawing, Powerball paid off in multiple other ways.
One lucky ticket won $800,000 with the Power Play option in Indiana. In addition, six other lucky tickets won $200,000 for matching 5 white ball numbers in the states of Iowa (1), Louisiana (1), Maine (1), Minnesota (1), Montana (1), and New Mexico (1).

Powerball lottery jackpot reaches $100 million
The Powerball jackpot continues to move upward, this time reaching the $100 million-mark.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday, one lucky ticket in Oklahoma won $800,000 with Power Play. A total of 585,154 players across the nation won more than $6 million in prizes in America's Game .

Winning Powerball lottery ticket sold in Oklahoma
Oklahoma has its first Powerball jackpot winner since it joined the multistate lottery game earlier this year.
No one came forward Sunday to claim the $101.8 million jackpot.

Unclaimed $800,000 Powerball Lottery Ticket Expires Today
Today is the last day left in the life of an $800,000 Powerball ticket that was sold last December in Memphis, Tennessee.
As with all of the Tennessee Lottery's numbers-pick games, players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
Since the ticket was purchased for the Dec. 10, 2005 drawing, the ticket expires on Friday.

No broadcast yet for Powerball lottery in western N.C.
Western North Carolina lottery players may have to turn to a South Carolina television station to watch Powerball drawings.
State lottery administrators said this week they're having difficulty finding a television station in the western region to broadcast the drawings. Drawings are at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
