Video poker, without a doubt. If you find the right machine and play it right the payout percentage can be over 100%. Card counting in blackjack is legal, but if you do count and make unusually large bets (usually more than four times what you've been betting) at the most advantageous times you will be asked to leave by casino management and possibly barred. You can win at craps by betting with the house (the "Do Not Come" bet) but you won't make many friends amongst the other players.

I don't really have a favorite casino game. I used to be a roulette junkie, but the house edge is too high in the long run. I was seriously into craps for a while, but it's a fast game and you have to be very disciplined about the bets you make. It can be very lucrative when you get on a hot roll. Slots can be a fun way to pass the time, but you never know exactly what you're up against. It does feel good when a big payout suddenly appears. I also enjoy playing live big board keno. It can be relatively slow, fun and relaxing, but the house takes a huge edge on the payoffs.

My basic rule in casinos and any other type of gambling is to "hit 'em hard and take off running."  Even the smallest house edge will grind you down if you stick around long enough. You should never leave a loser once you've gotten ahead of them. Of course, you need patience, luck, knowledge, and sound money management to ever get ahead in the first place. That in itself can be quite a challenge. Unfortunately, casinos can make big money even on a game with a minimal edge because most people are just bad gamblers. I think Kenny had it about right when he said you've gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.

      Good luck,

Carribean Stud Poker. I was also hooked on Pachinko while I was over in Japan. I won right at eight thousand dollars in one week. Took off for 43 days to Cairns, Australia. Rented a Sporty and took off across the outback for a few days. Come to think of it to h*** with poker. Pachinko.....definitely pachinko.

How could you leave out Keno, which is part of some US lotteries?

I like playing blackjack.  If you play according to the book, you can stretch your money out for a long time of enjoyment.  And sometimes you win!!!!

Roulette is my favorite game at the local casino. I only play the outside/even money bets with my system. It never fails that the pit boss and croupiers try very hard to break my winning streaks.

                  1. Changing croupiers every 15 minutes.

                  2. Each croupier bounces the ball out of the wheel at least twice.

                  3. Ball is replaced and/or weighed constantly.

I played one time wearing sunglasses and the pit boss asked me to remove them. What's up with THAT!!

Although I haven't played it in a real casino; I like playing Baccarat on the computer. My system algorithms for Roulette work for Baccarat as well. Although our local casino doesn't have a Baccarat table to test it out in realtime.

I like Texas Holdem'... I Watch the poker tours and play online at Pokerstars.net as Bayesoft.

I agree that the best game to play in regards to payoff is Video Poker. Although I don't play it personally, my supervisor at work plays it at our local casino.

I had a net profit of over $400 at the Roulette Table. The last time I was there, I lost $160 in two back-to-back sessions and haven't been back. I'm still ahead.... which is what really counts.

Maybe I'll pay them another visit in the spring.

i agree with CASHOnly. casinos that offer keno will likely get my money over other casinos.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.
