I have found that a good feature of this software is when you can turn a 49 number game into a 39 number game , it doesnt work every time, but works regularly enough, I just  thought I would mention it as another possible weapon in the armoury, its not limited to just the 49 number game either.

good luck all.

How are you eliminating the ten numbers?  Off the end of the Smart Picks? I usually find one or two of the winning numbers in the last six. BobP

He means you can pick 39 numbers and if all six winning numbers are among them, than it's like playing a 39 number game. In the Ohio 649 lottery which has had  453 drawings, had I just played numbers 1-39, I would have had a chance to matched all six numbers 100 times, five numbers 192 times and four 129 times. Reducing my playing field to 39 numbers is easy, but hitting all six numbers when they are among the 39 still have odds of 1:3,262,623.  I'm working on reducing a 649 game to 612 game with odds of 1:924.

sorry let me clarify a bit, I am using GH advantage plus software, and if you use chart (E) ten game group count chart then press (F6) for other charts, then press (3) for group percentages, the group of 10 numbers with the highest % should be left out of the next drawing, effectively turning a 49 number game into a 39 number game, this is also known as the number group bias tracker, in the book lottery master guide also by GH. hope this helps.

btw rjoh, how far are you from that target - 612 ?

Not even close yet, but I hear Guru might be trying to do the same with his 1.8 version of lottosync.  I thought I was down to a 620 game when I matched 4+1 and a 3+0 a few weeks ago, but I decided I just got lucky since I haven't repeat that feat again.

yes Paul i also have GH and she the best stats and chart software out there period.

I also played around with those groups, you can also break them down further into smaller groups, either way GH's is a VERY usefull tool in lotto !!!

perhaps some sort of regression testing with regards to the optimum number of games could even lead to a higher accuracy rate for the omitted group of 10 numbers. vick, I usually prefer a 10 number group  because I think gail is right when she says that the majority of times at least one 10 number group is missing from the draw results, sometimes even two, and also the fact that it cuts the odds drastically.
