I looking for any informationg regargind Covermaster software.  So far havent found any online Guide "how to use" .. something like that.

Is it possivel to optimize wheels to generate WR, using covermaster?

there is Lock/unlock function in this software... What is it for... and how to use it efficiently

thxs for any comments on this topic.

          Hi,

Vinicius if you refer to WR as World record wheel, then I think it is possible to generate WR with Covermaster at least with the 9,6,5,5 wheel,

Some members and me tested the wheel in the mathematics forum, see the results there..

CoverMaster can make some World Record wheels like (22,6,3,3in77) instantly, others like (18,6,4,6in42) can be very close, but closing the wheel can take a lot of work and luck pulling out lines and replacing them with made up ones and then optimizing and saving and optimizing, etc.

Once you know the size of a WR wheel and whether it is split or not, you have something to work with.  Usually CoverMaster makes wheels of the quality you generally find in lottery software or the real advantage is making the wheel to 99% and saving about a third of the cost to play.

The idea in CoverMaster is to build an optimized version of the wheel you want. Then, if the tickets produced are more than the WR, you can go to a lengthy optimization process:

              - find a ticket with the lowest dependency (Reports-Dependency).

              - Remove that ticket.

              - Apply optimization. There are good chances CM to cover the uncovered combinations. If you design a close-cover wheel, the target of optimization is to reach 0 uncovered. If this doesn't work, try removing a ticket with slighty increased dependency. Most of the time, this works if the lowest dependency ticket doesn't do the trick (of course, put that removed ticket first!).

              - Do the above until you have removed as many tickets as possible.

Another approach is to define the total tickets you want at the generate process and then let the manual optimizer work constantly on the the tickets. The drawback is that you are not ensured to get a close-cover wheel that way.

If you have something to do, at least do it well...
