Hot Lotto began in April 2002 as a six-state game; DC and North Dakota joined in 2004.

I have a feeling no more states will be joining, unless the matrix is changed or price goes to $2.

I think states would start dropping the game. They should make it a straight pick-6 fromat.

                  Jimmy:

That's not a bad argument (the forerunner to PB had a regular format).

I saw the 6/51 HL proposal; I like it.

With the occasional talk about combining Mega Millions and PB, how about merging Hot Lotto and              Lotto South?

I'm now predicting Hot Lotto will be replaced by next year with another MUSL annuitized jackpot game.
